These terms apply to your use of omid.dev, a personal website operated by Omid Farhang (blog, resume, portfolio links, and related pages).

omid.dev is provided for informational and personal branding purposes — articles, resume material, project links, and ways to get in touch. It is not a commercial platform, SaaS product, or social network hosted by me.

2. Acceptable use

  • Attempt to break, overload, or scrape the site in ways that harm availability
  • Submit unlawful, abusive, or spam content through the contact form
  • Misrepresent your identity when contacting me
  • Use automated means to bypass Turnstile or other anti-abuse measures

Unless otherwise noted, text, layout, and original media on omid.dev are © Omid Farhang. You may:

  • Read and link to pages with attribution
  • Quote short excerpts with a link to the source URL

You may not republish full articles, mirror the site, or use content commercially without prior permission.

Some posts reference companion code in separate repositories (for example example-projects on GitHub). That code may be under its own license — check each repository.

4. No professional advice

Posts about engineering, health, career, or other topics reflect personal experience and opinion. They are not legal, medical, financial, or professional advice. Use your own judgment and consult qualified professionals when needed.

5. Contact form

By submitting the contact form, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you consent to me using it to respond. See the Privacy Policy for how that data is handled.

6. Discussion and third-party platforms

Blog posts may link to threads on X, Mastodon, Bluesky, Reddit, Hacker News, or other services. Those platforms have their own terms and moderation. I am not responsible for content or conduct on third-party sites.

Webmentions shown on posts are public interactions collected via webmention.io and linked sources.

7. Disclaimer

The site and all materials are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. I do not guarantee that content is complete, current, or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of omid.dev or linked external services.

Links to third-party sites (playground demos, GitHub, social profiles, etc.) are provided for convenience. I do not control those sites and am not responsible for their content or policies.
